Something's off this diamond in the rough A theatre-geek's Greek ideal arm's-length, head wrong Possession is aggression and he's of the mind to get ground to the rind That's fine, as far as I'm concerned They'll live with what they have learned. The Meanies, a legion, gleaming Don't express yourself Those snakey ways borne deep in each unsmiling face Summon some grace, meet me halfway. A meal to the metal And a call from the sluice Spew loose from the kettle. Those first few moment of death in character - off set My warbling is marbling in peopled purposelessness What could be worse than this? X walked so Y could run, but where were they when you were having your fun? The Meanies, a legion, gleaming Don't express yourself Those snakey ways borne deep in each unsmiling face Summon some grace, meet me halfway. From bow to hull How I'd love to lose weight in my skull, and now it can't take much I am just as afraid as I was on the first day The Meanies, a legion, gleaming Don't express yourself Those snakey ways borne deep in each unsmiling face Summon some grace, don't express yourself.

By this time tomorrow, we're to be married, Harry. But before we agree there's some things I'd like to see. Don't get me wrong, I think you're a real swell guy But what kind of wife would I be to let you watch your life pass by? I'm only looking out for your self-esteem - and I'm also giving thought for our memories: Won't you live a little? Hon, we've always talked about growing old and grey But there's so much time to spend before we get to those days. The world just keeps changing all the time And I'd hate to have to leave you so far behind. I'm not saying that I would, I just have a lot of dreams And they don't all involve choosing kitchen schemes Won't you live a little? I've gotta say, you're looking awfully glum As I make my way toward you to the organ's hum Every little thing's perfect for our special day The vicar is lost in the rites, but I just look up at your face. We've been through a lot - but there's no stopping us And with me by your side - I'll keep you on your toes and with any hope we'll both live a little.

The Bar Bore 03:29
Fish me through the split in your fist I know the answer, but you're not gonna like it It starts at the back of your heart recessed at the meat's wilted crest. You never feel like a bad friend, hand-in. Grates abrade - 'all daylight's a waste.' When you get burned, when songs go unheard: 'How hot do you think it was going down with the bird?' 'Are you afraid of magic?' (Nervo-saurus Rex) 'Well it's a shame how my story is ending.' Someone from the sky sent - all of our regrets to him. 'As a rook, I took chances no one else took with each person I'd meet, just one more in a thick of wrong trees. And my throat's raw and torn from barking.'

A Furnace 04:15
Rinsing the rest of the retch from my hands, I now see the appeal of these poetry slams. Is this guy bothering you? He wonders 'bout your nightmares; in mirrors. Scorched earth leading back to my birth, but I'd stow away my love so light the rest of my days in his coign embrace. "Hey mammal!" spat the squid-kids and the whole of my life followed suit with this. People don't want art, and I don't blame them I give them something else - some bad feelings to shelve. And on the face of that precipice where will I plant a kiss; the last I have to give?
